STEAM is a unique training space that combines strength, functionality, and wellness in an innovative way. Located within a wellness centre, STEAM offers a broad range of training options for both individuals and groups. We designed this space and supplied all the equipment—except for the boxing floor, punch bags, and mounting brackets. This includes a complete training floor, a sprint track featuring the STEAM logo, rigs with the popular Crossmaxx XL dual pulley system, an extensive storage rack, and essential equipment such as the Crossmaxx Air Bike PRO, benches, power sled, barbells, plates, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, challenge bags, a timer, and much more.
Ömür, the founder of STEAM, shares the story behind the gym’s name and its inception: “My last name is Sara, hence the S. Since the gym is located in a wellness centre, we wanted the name to also resonate with wellness. Steam is something you encounter in both a wellness environment and during a workout, whether it’s a steam bath, sauna, infrared, or simply blowing off ‘steam’ while training. This led us to the name STEAM! You can also pronounce it as S-team, representing Sara’s team.”
A diverse range of options for everyone
At STEAM, the focus is on a wide array of training styles, ensuring there is something for everyone. From personal training and duo training to small group sessions and specialised budo training like kickboxing and pads training, STEAM has everything to meet different needs. “I was a professional MMA and kickboxer in the past, so budo training is an essential part of what I offer,” says Ömür. He emphasises that STEAM is a welcoming space for all, offering tailored training and a variety of options, including power training, functional training, and conditioning.
A trusted partnership with Lifemaxx
The partnership between STEAM and Lifemaxx began through Ali from Big Gym, now known as One Gym, who is also Ömür’s cousin. “The collaboration with Lifemaxx was and still is fantastic. We are very satisfied and look forward to working with Lifemaxx in the future!” says Ömür. With high-quality equipment and a client-focused approach, we ensured that STEAM became a functional, versatile, and inspiring training space, perfectly suited to the wellness environment.
