Nebi Tasbas, co-owner and studio manager of BeneFIT Studio The Hague, has a deep passion for health and personal guidance. Together with his business partner Marcel, they have created a studio where not only physical fitness but also well-being and personal growth are at the forefront. “We don’t just want to make our clients physically stronger, we also aim to help them lead more energetic and healthier lives,” Nebi shares with enthusiasm. We had the privilege of designing and setting up this studio.
From Scheveningen to the city centre
BeneFIT Studio The Hague is the product of years of experience and success. Their journey began with a studio on Scheveningen, which quickly became a local favourite. After eight years, Nebi and Marcel had the desire to expand, but their plans were put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “In hindsight, that actually gave us the opportunity to refine our concept and open this beautiful location in the heart of the city at the perfect time,” says Nebi. It turned out to be a strategic move that brought them even closer to realising their vision.
A studio for everyone
The studio was designed with a clear mission: to help clients become fitter and healthier at their own pace and level. A personal approach is key. “One of the things we do here is not only match clients with trainers based on their goals but also on personality. This creates a bond that goes beyond just physical training,” explains Nebi. This makes BeneFIT Studio The Hague unique, as they focus not only on physical results but also on the mental connection between client and trainer.
Partnership with Lifemaxx
When it came to designing and equipping their new studio, practical considerations were important. Nebi and Marcel wanted a space that was both functional and welcoming for clients. They sought a reliable partner and turned to Lifemaxx, with whom they had had positive experiences in the past. “We had previously placed smaller orders with Lifemaxx and were always impressed by their customer service and professional approach,” says Nebi. "So when it came time to open our new studio, it was a natural choice to work with them again.”

One of the most valuable steps in the process was the 3D design that Lifemaxx provided. “This gave us immediate insight into how to make the best use of the space. We could experiment with the layout, such as strategically placing the squat rack and multi-station. It ensured that the gym was not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional.”

The collaboration with Lifemaxx went smoothly from the initial planning stages to the final setup. “What we truly appreciate about Lifemaxx is their responsiveness and customer service,” Nebi explains. “Whenever we had a question, we always received a quick response. That level of service really makes a difference, especially when working on a large project like opening a new studio.”

Plans for the future
Although the studio has only recently opened, plans for the future are already in place. It is comforting to know that if we need more equipment in the future, we can rely on Lifemaxx,” says Nebi.
